The conference offered researchers and health-care professionals a unique opportunity to share ideas and learn about significant advances in diabetes research, treatment, and care within Canada and around the world. In her remarks, MP Sidhu updated the delegates on the Government of Canada’s ongoing work and initiatives to address diabetes in Canada.

This conference marks the third diabetes related conference of significance MP Sidhu has attended within the past 12 month period. Previously, MP Sidhu has attended international conferences in Rome and Kolkata to deliver remarks, share best practices, and promote the role Canada is playing as a world leader in the fight against diabetes.
