Today, MP Sonia Sidhu is pleased to highlight that the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, will be presenting the Government of Canada’s 2023 budget in the House of Commons on March 28, 2023, at approximately 4:00 p.m. ET. This budget will detail the government's plan to invest in the people and communities of Brampton South, and across the country.

“As your MP for Brampton South, I would like to thank everyone who participated in the pre-budget consultations. Your input and feedback will help shape the government's priorities and ensure that the budget reflects the needs and priorities of Brampton South,” said MP Sonia Sidhu.

The 2023 budget will focus on investing in areas that matter most to Canadians. It will also support our economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, creating jobs, and driving growth in Brampton South and across the country.

“I look forward to working with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, as well as my colleagues in Parliament, to ensure that the budget delivers for Brampton South and all Canadians,” said MP Sidhu.
