1. The successful implementation of the $10-a-day childcare initiative significantly reduces family expenses, with an anticipated reduction of $19,790.
2. Budget 2023 introduces the $13 billion Canadian Dental Care Plan, prioritizing children and senior residents.
3. Housing efforts in Brampton South focus on affordability, featuring the elimination of GST on rental construction and increased support for first-time home buyers.
4. A federal investment of $114 million will contribute to the construction of 24,000 homes.
5. Ongoing initiatives, such as the Affordable Housing and Groceries Act, demonstrate dedication to removing GST on new rentals and fostering competition.
6. The passing of bail reform legislation and the implementation of strengthened measures highlight the government’s dedication to community safety and fairness.
